برنامج Internet Download Manager هو مدير ومُسرِع تحميل للإنترنت يزيد سرعة التحميل بنسبة ٥٠٠ % كما يُقدم لك العديد من المميزات, حيث يستطيع جدولة واستئناف تنزيل الملفات المُراد تحميلها من الإنترنت بجميع أنواعها
مثل البرامج، الألعاب ,ملفات الصوت والفيديو بأنواعها المختلفه ... وغيرها .

لديه قدره هائلة على تَدارُك مشاكل التحميل الناتجة عن مشاكل الشبكة وانقطاع التيار الكهربي أو انغلاق غير متوقع لجهاز الكمبيوتر أو فقدان الإتصال بالإنترنت

يقوم بتقسيم الملفات المراد تحميلها بطريقة ديناميكية أثناء عملية التحميل واستغلال وصلات الإنترنت المتاحه بأكبر قدر ممكن دون الحاجه لفتح أو طلب وصلات إضافية مما يُحقق أفضل سرعة أداء لديه واجِهه سهلة الإستخدام.

يندمج IDM بسهولة مع معظم متصفحي الإنترنت مثل: Microsoft Internet Explorer Netscap, Opera, AOL, MyIE2 , MSN Explorer, Mozilla Firefox
